GROUP GUIDE BESIDE (GGB)

After Advanced Cycles….

After you completed the Advanced Cycles course you had knowledge about a cyclic edge you could use to develop a proven profitable plan in the markets.  Some don’t, and some can’t.

GGB is designed to help you as a graduate Advanced Cycler to review and consolidate your cyclic knowledge with emphasis on going forward to ‘trading’.  It is about encouraging skill development not just theory lectures.  There are things you will WANT to know and there are things you NEED to know.  Both will be addressed.  Phasing is critical and will form an important component of what is covered.  There will be ‘doing’ to do.  You will not get much out of GGB as a passive observer.  I will be providing some ‘external’ motivation and inspiration to help you gain, maintain or regain momentum.

You will be required to be focused and dedicated to the tasks including overcoming the barriers to taking trades.  Trading practicalities will be covered including market selection, broker selection, equipment needed and more.  The aim is to overcome all the hurdles and barriers to trading.  To be a trader you have to learn to ‘trade’ but importantly, you need a proven profitable plan.

These GGB sessions are designed to be educational, and not advisory, and are about supporting Advanced Cyclers who have already decided they want to use cyclic knowledge to trade.  GGB requires a serious time commitment and considerable effort.  To get anything worthwhile done, you MUST maintain your priorities DESPITE the distractions.  Focus, focus, focus.

Zoom session recordings will be made available and have proven to be a valuable resource.

GGB is NOT the ‘Trading Advanced Cycles’ (TAC) course.  TAC takes beginning cycle traders through the process of developing a cycle-based plan and then works through the practicalities of proving the plan profitable leading to trading real time real money.

Where is price in the longer and shorter cycles?
How can you benefit from this knowledge?

•  Do you have confidence in your cyclic analysis and can you trust your assessment – or would you like to be able to discuss your thinking to get confirmation?

•  Are you adhering to cyclic principles?
What other cyclic based alternatives/factors should you consider at this time?

•  If you want to trade:
            What exactly is required?
Which market and which broker ?
How do you minimise risk of loss?
            How do you maximise profits?
What do you do if you don’t yet have a proven profitable plan?

•  How do you handle your Psychology?
Overcoming fear and greed through understanding
                        What is smart to do?
What is smart NOT to do?
Disassociating from news, talking heads and the ignorant opinions of the masses?
The glass is half full if you choose to see it that way

•  Do you want guidance, support, clarification or confirmation?
Would you like re-iteration of what you have learned in Advanced Cycles to apply to the current situation?

Q and A

Q:  Can we look at any market including Australian stocks?
A:  Yes, I will be guided by the interests of the group.

Q:  Do we HAVE to trade?
A:  No.  I neither encourage or discourage trading.  That decision has to be made by each participant.  It will be fine by me either way.

Q:  Do we have to trade ‘your’ way.
A:  Hell NO!  I use things that I have tested and found work for me.  Participants can use whatever methodologies they want.

Q:  Will you cover the key principles involved in analysis and trading.
A:  Hell YES!

Q:  Will you GUARANTEE I will make money out of these sessions?
A:  There is no such thing as a stupid question but some come mighty close!  I will guarantee you will learn as a result of these sessions.  I can’t know what you will do with those learnings.

Q:  What equipment will I need?
A:  You will be advised of these specifics when you sign up.  Most people will have what is required; a computer and an internet connection.

Q:  Will the sessions be fully interactive?
A:  Yes.

Q:  Can we ask questions?
A:  Yes.  I want questions because I want to cover your issues.  You will be able to ask and everyone will hear your question(s).

Q:  What will be covered?
A:  Everything raised by participants plus essential aspects as needed.

Q:  Will you accept time payment?
A:  I am not a bank, but shoot me an email with what you propose.

Q:  If I have done a Guide Beside with you before can I recycle for free?
A:  No.  Recycling does not apply to Guide Beside or Group Guide Beside.

Q:  Will we be able to look over your shoulder as you trade?
A:  Yes, but participants need to understand that I will expect they will do their own work and make their own decisions.  These sessions are NOT about mirroring each of my trades.  It is illegal for me to advise.

Q:  I am not sure which market to trade.  Will you tell us?
A:  If the group would like to go through this process, I will step through the cyclic answer to this question.

Q:  You advocate having a proven profitable plan.  I don’t have one.  Will I be able to trade?
A:  NO, NO, NO and NO again!  I will outline the process.

Q:  Will you provide any notes (PDF's) etc.
A:  Notes, as such, are not really relevant for these sessions because the topics, issues and 'whatever' will be participant driven.  However, the recording of each session will be available to participants.  I will use email where appropriate.

Q:  Can you provide advice on borrowing to invest at the current time.  As I am thinking to borrow some money to invest?
A:  I can't provide advice.  I am not a licensed financial advisor.  However, I would caution you to NOT use money you can't afford to lose - and you should assume you WILL lose all that you have in a broker account - and possibly MORE.

My focus is on helping participants to get educated, including minimising risk and maximising profit.
