Overview
Trading Advanced Cycles exists because understanding market cycles is not the same as having a tradable process.
Many Advanced Cyclers reach a point where knowledge is no longer the issue. The challenge becomes execution, confidence, consistency, and knowing whether a plan genuinely works in real conditions. TAC exists to close that gap.
This course provides structured assistance to help participants build, test, and prove one complete trading or investing plan. The emphasis is on doing the work properly so decisions are based on evidence rather than hope. Once a plan is proven profitable, position sizing becomes meaningful rather than dangerous.
TAC is suitable if:
• you understand cyclic structure
• you want to trade or invest using your own rules
• you are prepared to test and refine a process
• you want confidence grounded in evidence
TAC is not suitable if:
• you want signals or tips
• you want someone else’s strategy
• you are unwilling to test your ideas
You do not need a perfect plan before starting. TAC is where that clarity is built.
Trading practicalities will be covered including market selection, broker selection, equipment needed and more. The aim is to overcome all the hurdles and barriers to trading. To be a trader you must learn to ‘trade’.

Developing a Proven Profitable Plan
This course involves learning a process to develop a proven profitable plan using cyclic knowledge. You will learn to fish. Once you have generated sample trades from the plan, these will be used to establish the quality of the plan. We will get answers to questions such as “Will this plan be good enough to meet trading income objectives and will the drawdowns be tolerable?”
There is a lot to do. Back testing and forward testing are very valuable but they take time. You will need an average of at least an hour per day.
There are MANY possible directions available in trading. I take the approach YOU must develop a plan. My advice is to keep it simple. Note the possibilities as you come across them. Write them out and store them for future possible consideration. This calms your subconscious and leaves it, and your conscious mind, to focus on your current ‘simple’ plan. You want a robust proven profitable plan you can start trading real time real money. When this is up and running you can then ‘cycle’ back around to those archived possibilities and take them through the process to construct a better(?) next plan. This whole plan development process can go on for as long as you want. There is no limit to the number of plans you have running but you will probably want to retire the less profitable one(s). You may have different plans for different parts of cycles – long, short, flat etc. Ultimately you must answer the question “How much work is enough?!!
